Born Hunter 17,798
Anybody on here flirt the odd arrow?................. Or know anything about it? I've got a few mates that mess about with various traditional bows and I'm looking to get my first bow now. I'm interested in a Ragim Impala 60" with 40lb draw at 28" three piece take down. Just for messing about doing field archery, nothing serious. Anybody give me any advice?
Big bald beautiful 1,231
good bow that to start with i used to shoot a kodiak black dougless. depends on what arrows you shoot as to what class your entered into i used alliminuim arrows with no sights or release aids and that was bare bow, i then started making my own arrows from cedar or pine so i was intered into hunting tackle class. field target is great, you will be made very welcome and its not at all clicky like target archery

Born Hunter 17,798
Cheers BBB, you sound experienced. At first I'll just be buggering about with home made targets in the field, we have little competitions between the three of us. Then maybe proper field archery. Been looking at some Samicks to. I was looking at a one piece recurve in KG archery yesterday but don't wanna be spending hundreds on my first bow. My mates make their own wood arrows, real nice but I think I'll just pay them to make mine. LOL. Paulus, bear ya arse at 30 yards and say that!
